The Desert Speaks David Yetman The Desert Speaks – 18th Season

Host David Yetman takes viewers on another round of bold explorations when The Desert Speaks returns for a spectacular 18th season. Through intriguing storytelling and stunning photography, viewers find out about the people (past and present), plants, animals and archaeology of arid regions throughout the New World.

Expect to see four programs in the deserts of Chile (including the Atacama Desert – the driest place on Earth – where it hasn’t rained a drop in many generations). You’ll also visit Patagonia, Argentina, the Sea of Cortez, and the desert portions of the San Andreas Fault. Yetman and the crew spent much of 2007 traveling to these far-flung locations.
